I was wondering about the sentence "pull s/o through": what does it mean? I
couldn't find an explanation, by googling around.

To "pull through" means to persevere in the face of a difficult
situation. To "pull another through" (or "pull me through") would be to
help another person weather their difficult situations.

"It was dire times, and the bank was about to foreclose on my house, but
a generous gift from my grandmother pulled me through."

"It was far below zero degrees, and the blizzard gave us near-zero
visibility, but we pulled through."
