Commas in a series of clauses

Dear all:

Please consider the following example (please pardon me for a bit of
clumsiness and ambiguity---actually, I have a technical sentence which
would not be understandable here---but the structure of the sentence is
the same):

[
If Adam goes from Lilith to Eve, following a parent's suggestion, then
for Adam's children love and cooking stay the same, while for Adam's
parents love increases by 1 and cooking drops by 1.
]

Question: Are the commas correctly placed, and, in particular, do we
need a comma before the last " and" ?

Thanks and best regards,

Jaakov.

Looks okay to me Jaakov. I don't think you need a comma before the last
"and" or it would be too stilted to read.
